摘要:In this lecture, after introducing some PDE preliminaries including the maximum principles for scalar functions and tensors, we will talk about long time existence of the flow. Then we will prove Huisken’s classical theorem about convex mean curvature flow in Euclidean space, which says that if the initial hypersurface is strictly convex in Euclidean space, then the mean curvature flow will contract to a point at finite time and the rescaled flow will converge to a round sphere.
